Clear about what “compatible” means.

Protocol support does not certify every board or firmware version. The reference verification uses protocol fixtures and real compiler builds; physical-board flashing and recovery were not verified. A release-specific tested firmware and board matrix is still to be published.

Will Vantage flash my flight controller?

Automatic ArduPilot, PX4 and Betaflight flight-controller flashing is not implemented. Board-plugin workflows support selected Arduino, Pico and ESP32 builds and explicitly reviewed uploads.

Are closed vendor flight links supported?

Closed vendor flight links are not supported until a working Vantage integration is available. Installing a vendor SDK alone does not establish support.

Does detection identify every component?

Detection uses reported firmware identities and local device descriptors. Shared USB bridges cannot reliably establish an exact board model. Unsupported or ambiguous devices retain clear status and setup guidance.
